Relay for Life

It's that time again. The reason Jill and I are wearing the crazy hats in this picture is because we were doing a fun lap in the relay last year. You can see the fog water droplets in the picture. Br. It was cold and damp.
You can help us have fun this June by donating to our team, MeMe's Allstars. You can donate several ways....
1. Ridin' for a Cure Dice Run - held annually on Memorial Day weekend in May. You can donate prizes, money, or participate. Here is a link to the site. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ridin-for-a-Cure/268892944785
2. Go to my page on our team page and purchase a luminary, join our team, or donate to our team. Here is a link to that site. http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RFLFY10SA?px=4817468&pg=personal&fr_id=24776&fl=en_US&et=ZfQVuOa-Cj4qIRfScBZzNg..&s_tafId=462815
3. Say a prayer for those who are cancer survivors and those who are battling it today. Pray for a cure. Spread the word. Make others aware!

Meet Maggie.

This is Maggie Mae. She is our new addition. After two hard years of missing Paisley, we finally decided to get a new dog. This process was worse than shopping for a couch, but we finally found a dog we both liked. And, here she is. Maggie Mae. Her given name was Magic, but we weren't so fond of it. We changed it to Maggie (close to magic, but still girly, and similar to both my grandmas' names Margaret and Madge) She got her middle name, Mae, from my mom's Cousin Mae, who she spent summers with as a child. Cousin Mae was a school teacher and had a dog who had similar markings. It only seemed appropriate to name her Maggie Mae. Well, here she is. She can't wait to meet you.
